NACE20 Cancelled – Important Information for Registrants

NACE20 has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Paid registration: NACE will automatically issue a credit equal to the amount of your paid registration. This protects your budget dollars and can be used on any NACE product, service, or event—including NACE21 in Austin—through June 30, 2021. Requests for refunds must be in writing to nacepayments@naceweb.org and received by June 15, 2020. (Note: After June 15, 2020, a credit will be issued.)

  • When will my credit be available?

    NACE will automatically issue a credit equal to the amount of your paid registration. This credit will be available to you within 60 days. You will receive a notification email when your credit has been placed on account.

  • What can I use my credit for? When does it expire?

    The credit can be used on any NACE product, service, or event by you or anyone at your organization—including NACE21 in Austin. Credits are available to use through June 30, 2021.

  • How can I use my credit?

  • How do I request a refund?

    Requests for refunds must be made in writing to nacepayments@naceweb.org and received by June 15, 2020. No refunds will be issued after this date. If no request for refund has been made, your payment will be converted to a credit on your account.

    You will receive a notification email when your refund has been processed.

  • How do I cancel my hotel reservation?

    Each hotel property has its own policies regarding cancellations. Please read all the information on your confirmation or call the hotel directly if you have questions or need clarification.

  • How do I cancel my flight reservations?

    Each airline carrier has its own policies regarding cancellations, and most are being flexible to accommodate travel changes. Please visit your airline carrier’s website or contact them directly if you have questions or need clarification.

  • What if I used a third-party service to make my hotel or flight reservations?

  • What is the deadline for Early-Bird registration?

    The Early-Bird rate has been extended through June 5, 2020.

  • What is included in my conference registration?

    Full-conference registrants enjoy access to concurrent sessions, events, and the Expo Hall, plus various meals and beverages, including:

    • Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments on Tuesday evening
    • Continental breakfast on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
    • Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday
    • Beverage breaks between sessions on Wednesday and Thursday

    Your conference registration does not include preconference workshops. They require separate registration and an additional fee.

  • Is there a NACE member discount for preconference workshops and conference registration?

    Yes, NACE members enjoy discounted registration for preconference workshops and the 2020 NACE Conference & Expo. Visit the registration page for a complete list of registration rates and cutoff dates.

  • Must I be a NACE member to get the discounted member registration rate?

    Yes, only NACE members are eligible for this special rate.

  • What if I need to transfer my registration?

    Requests for registration transfers must be submitted in writing to events@naceweb.org by May 29, 2020. Additional charges may apply if a registration is transferred from a member to a nonmember.

  • What if I need to cancel my registration? (updated April 6, 2020)

    Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Cancellation and Credit on Account/Refunds

    For all NACE in-person events scheduled through June 30, 2020, NACE can provide one of two options to anyone who must cancel their paid registration due to illness or travel restrictions implemented by their organization:

    • Credit on account equal to the amount of their paid registration
      • This option secures your budget dollars for the next year: You can apply the credit to any NACE product or service, including virtual and in-person events, and NACE21 through June 30, 2021.
    • A full refund on registration to anyone who must cancel their paid registration

    Cancellation or credit requests must be made in writing and directed to events@naceweb.org.

    No-shows at 2020 NACE Conference & Expo are not eligible for a credit or refund.

  • Where will I pick up my name badge?

    All badges are to be picked up on-site. Attendees and exhibitors who register in advance may pick up their badges at the Minneapolis Convention Center during the following hours:

    • Tuesday, June 2: Noon – 8:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday, June 3: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    • Thursday, June 4: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Are group rates available?

    If five or more staff members from the same organization register for the full conference, NACE will offer a 5 percent discount for each registrant at the applicable member or nonmember rate.

    If 10 or more staff members from the same organization register for the full conference, NACE will offer a 10 percent discount for each registrant at the applicable member or nonmember rate.

    Please note, all registrations must be received simultaneously and billed on one invoice.

  • How do I submit an accommodation request?

    NACE is committed to providing conference experiences and environments that are welcoming, inviting, and user-friendly for all attendees. The conference planners recognize that some individuals require specific accommodations to ensure their full and equal participation at NACE20.

    Requests for specific accommodations, including the dates and times of anticipated services, must be received by events@naceweb.org no later than April 3, 2020 to ensure those arrangements can be scheduled and confirmed prior to conference.
