NACE’s annual student survey has traditionally been centered around bachelor’s degree, graduating seniors’ approach to the job market—what kinds of jobs graduates will be seeking (or whether they will be seeking jobs at all), how they go about researching and approaching potential employers, what employer/job qualities particularly attract them, and whether they have been successful in landing a job for right after graduation.
The 2019 NACE Student Survey Report: Two-Year Schools is new for this year and devoted to students at the associate degree level. While most bachelor’s degree graduates are focused on finding a job after graduation rather than pursuing additional education, this is not the case with the associate degree. The largest group of graduates are looking to take the next step in their academic careers and pursue more education, rather than entering the job market and beginning their career pursuits.
